Kenneth Story, 57 of Metropolis, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at his home.There will be no services at this time.Kenneth worked for Chamness Care for 8 years as a DSP worker. He enjoyed music, especially the guitar, photography, and watching sports and movies.Kenneth is survived by his parents, Charles and Judy Story; sister, Melissa (Story) Harris; brother, Keith Story and wife Lisa; nieces and nephews, Taylor Story (Kaylin), Nikki Bowlin (Sam), Jacob Harris, Tucker Harris (Jessica), and Hannah Harris; 15 great nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Amy Cox and Bubby Terry.He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and George Perry and Charlie B. and Aline Story; his beloved dog, Ché.Memorial contributions may be given in Kenneth's name to NPR at NPR.org/donations/support.Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
