Helen D. Howell, 78 of Georgetown, formerly of Metropolis, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville.Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Bryan Morrison officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Helen was a member of the First Church of God in Metropolis. She retired from Hancock's in Paducah in 2019 as a fabric cutter. She loved her dog, Benji, who preceded her, and her cat, Spook.Helen is survived by her daughter, Tammy D. Hill of Georgetown; grandson, Cody W. Hill and wife Tori of Ogden; two great grandchildren, Hudson W. Hill and Huxley M. Hill; brother, David L. Green (Anca) of Middletown, Rhode Island; nieces, Ashley D. Green of Middletown, Florida, and Ashley D.
