METROPOLIS, Ill. - Janice L. Stafford, 81, of Metropolis, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025, at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Graveside services will be held at noon Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Renshaw, with Rev. Glenn Coram officiating. Visitation will be held at the cemetery from 11:30 a.m. to noon.Janice worked for CTS in Paducah and then retired from the Massac County Sheriff's Department after more than 30 years as a dispatcher. After retirement, she worked at the Metropolis Public Library. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandson, Dallas.Janice is survived by her daughters, Tammy Hall and husband Jimmy and Pam Loven and husband Mark; granddaughter, Marlee Lanham and husband Dustin; great-grandson, Dallas Lanham; brother, Gary Kilgore and wife Paula; nephew, Kevin Kilgore and wife Susan; niece, Angela Proctor and husband Brian; two great-nephews and one great-ni
