Janice L. Stafford, 81 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Renshaw, IL with Rev. Glen Coram officiating. Visitation will be held at the cemetery from 11:30 a.m. until 12 noon.
Janice worked for CTS in Paducah and then retired from the Massac County Sheriff's Department after more than 30 years as a dispatcher. After retirement, she worked at the Metropolis Public Library. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great grandson, Dallas.
