Lana J. McHaney, 76, of Metropolis, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 15, 2025, at Mercy Health-Lourdes, Paducah.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21, 2025, at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with David Wright and Tom Quimby officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Lana was a member of Joppa Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed crafting and was an avid reader. Her favorite pastime though, was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.Lana is survived by her husband of 49 years, Phillip McHaney; four children, Kent McHaney and wife Christine, Deidra Fondren and husband Bryan, Phillip McHaney II and wife Bethany, and Daniel McHaney and wife Jamie; 10 grandchildren, Emily Johnson, Timmy Johnson, Hope Leathers, Damon McHaney, Matt McHaney, Alisha McHaney, Josh McHaney, Nate McHaney, Kylie Parker and Chloe Parker; 10 great grandchildren, Conner McHaney, Cameron McHaney, Madelyn McHaney, Andrew Leathers, Atlas McHaney, Natalie
