Robert Lee Vaughn, 80, Metropolis, passed away at 5:50 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with his family by his side.Per his wishes there will not be any services.Robert was a retired boilermaker. He was an avid woodworker, who made beautiful furniture. He loved gardening, birdwatching, always had a good story to tell, and enjoyed listening to or telling a good joke.Robert is survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Worthen-Vaughn; children, Zandra Fasolo and husband Danny, Bobby Vaughn Sr., and Levi Vaughn; five grandchildren, D.J.
