Elaine "Grandma Doc" (Maddox) Myrick, 69, of Metropolis, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, at her residence.Funeral services were held at noon Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Rev. Royce Lamarr and Bob Myrick officiated. Burial followed in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Elaine was a very loving and nurturing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, who adored her family and her cats.Elaine is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Myrick; children, Deshae Hale, Deann "Pooh" Metcalf and husband Dusty, and Nick Myrick and wife Jerrye; seven grandchildren, Michael Jacobs, Matt Jacobs, Brayden Campbell, Kelsey Johnson, Allyson Myrick, Olivia Myrick, and Izzy Myrick; seven great grandchildren; sisters, Leslie LaBelle and husband Ray and Gayle LaMarr and husband Royce; nephew, Jim LaBelle; nieces, Lisa Burnham, Kimberly Heck, Kathy Colby, and Kelli Kernan; special great niece whom she referred to as Fancy Face, Jessica Burnham; several g
