Dorothy George, 86, of Brookport, passed away at 7:12 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2025, at Baptist Health Paducah.Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. Dr. Joe Buchanan officiated. Burial followed in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Dorothy was a member of Metropolis First Baptist Church. She had previously worked at Credit Thrift and Theo Well Motors.
