Tammy Smith, 52 of Metropolis, passed away Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at Massac Memorial Hospital.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Justin Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Round Springs Cemetery.Tammy worked for six years for LYNX services as a manager. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she played the piano. She loved to work puzzles, sew and crochet and always had a project going. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter and is going to be deeply missed.Tammy is survived by her father, Jerry McCoy; husband of 33 years, Stephen Smith; son, Markus Smith and wife Jamie; daughter, Leslie Smith; father-in-law, Ray Smith; and brother-in-law, Raymond Smith.She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathy McCoy, and mother-in-law, Nancy Smith.Visitation will be held at the church from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10.Memorials may be given in Tammy's name to Macedonia Baptist Church, 3980 Macedonia Church Road, Me
