METROPOLIS, Ill. - Dorothy (Horstman) Robinson, 98, of Metropolis, died at 3:46 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Friends may call 1-2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, 2024, at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home. A graveside service at Masonic Cemetery in Metropolis will follow with Tom Emmerson officiating.She was a lifelong member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, worked at the Good Luck Glove Factory, was a homemaker.She is survived by her sons, Larry Robinson and Ronnie Robinson, and several nieces and nephews.Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Mayme (Hitterman) Horstman; husband, John William "Jack" Robinson; one sister and one brother.Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
