Ruth Ann (Oliver) Hunt, age 82 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 8:03 pm on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. Ruth was born on February 14, 1942 in Karnak, IL the daughter of Henry and Geraldine (Harris) Oliver. She married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Hunt Jr. on October 26, 1962.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jack Russell officiating.
Ruth was a member of Waldo Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, genealogy and hummingbirds. Ruth was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed.
