Jerry G. Moore, 85, of Paducah, formerly of Metropolis, Illinois, passed away peacefully Friday, July 26, 2024, at his home.Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Rev. Stephen Heisner officiated.Jerry retired from Electric Energy Inc as a machinist and was a member of Heartland Church in Paducah.Jerry is survived by his daughter, Vicki Bowman and husband Kerry of Metropolis, Illinois; son, Jeff Moore and wife Sherry of Eddyville, Illinois; grandchildren, Tyler Moore (Abby) of Simpson, Illinois, Curt Rhymer (Destiny) of Port Matilda, Pennsylvania, Nathan Rhymer (Brittany) of Creal Springs, Illinois; great grandchildren, Addy and Wyatt Moore, Jude, Sophia, Ryley, Sullivan, and Logan Rhymer; sister, Jeanette Jones (Charlie) of Pulaski, Illinois; brother-in-law, Joseph Canada (Juanita) of Manteno, Illinois; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Rose (Canada) Moore; parents,
