William "Billy" Rose, 78 of Metropolis, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Graveside services were held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at Shedville Cemetery with Rev. David Deem officiating.Billy was an easy-going, friendly man who never met a hand he didn't shake. He was of Christian faith and loved going to church. He enjoyed coloring, word searches, movies, music and going out to eat.Billy is survived by his cousins, Jeff and Deneal Bullock, Mike and Amy Bullock, and Charlotte Parks.He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Kerr and Floella Kerr and his loving sister, Dollie Kemper.Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
