METROPOLIS, Ill. - Margie M. Obermark, 83 of Metropolis, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2024, at Southgate Health Care Center.Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at St. Stephens Lutheran Church with Tom Emmerson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.Margie was a lifelong member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church and loved her family and church family.Margie is survived by her sons, Eric Obermark and Kevin Obermark and wife Carrie; grandchildren, Kaylee Territo (Nick), Kassie Little, Clayton Obermark (Kaity), and Kurtis Obermark (Summer); great-grandchildren, Emmie, Hunter, and Walker; one brother, Earl "Cabbage" Hunerkoch (Dixie); several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Hunerkoch; mother and stepfather, Evelyn (Dummeier) and Alvin Horstman; brothers, Wayne Hunerkoch and Gale "Whitey" Hunerkoch.Visitation will be held 1-3 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at St. Stephens Lutheran Church.Memorials may be made in Margie's name to
